Marcia Weske has lived in our Oakland, Berkeley and Piedmont community since 1964 attending Havens Elementary, Piedmont Middle School, and Piedmont High. She left California to embark on a college career in Massachusetts where she received her B.A. in Psychology from Brandeis University, and M.Ed. in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University. Returning to the East Bay she completed her M.S. in Counseling from Cal State University, Hayward.

Marcia’s natural instinct for understanding people gives her a unique perspective on the personal attitudes, concerns, and goals of both the buyer and the seller.
For eight years Marcia served as the Director of Volunteers for Geriatric Outreach Program in San Leandro and then four years as a Top Producer at Mark & Associates, a firm specializing in placement services for legal professionals, where she learned important negotiating tools.

Marcia’s overall real estate experience includes buyer/seller representation for new and existing home sales, investment properties, land purchases, Planning and Building approvals for the city of Piedmont among others, as well as home remodels. Marcia lives with her family in the East Bay. Her two children attended both public and private schools in Oakland and Berkeley. She is an avid traveler, animal lover, and formidable Scrabble player.

Her active community involvement has included working with the Girls and Boy Scouts of America, Leadership in the Hyde Schools parent group, Smiley Dog Rescue, and a member of the Lake Merritt Breakfast Club, sponsors of Fairyland and the Necklace of Lights.
